Dynamics of Glass-forming Polymers
@We have studied dynamics of glass-forming polymers using inelastic and quasielastic neutron scattering in a wide temperature range. We revealed many interesting features of Boson peak as well as picosecond fast process. In addition we found a E-process which is characteristic to conformational transition in polymers. Combining all the data we draw a relaxation time map (temperature dependence of relaxation time) in Figure 1 and schematic sketch of glass transition in polymers, including picosecond fast process, E-process, a-process in cooperative rearranging region (CRR).
