Presentation Instructions

All oral and poster sessions will take place in Bldg. #4 of Kyoto Research Park.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Time allocation for presentations:

Invited Presentations: 30 minutes (including 5 minutes for discussion)
Regular Presentations: 15 minutes (including 3 minutes for discussion)
Please make sure that your presentation will not run over your allocated time.


Equipment:
Following equipment will be provided.
- An LCD projector
- A laser pointer
- A microphone
Presenters are expected to bring their own laptop computer including PowerPoint and presentation files.


Notes:

1. Your computer must be equipped with a Mini D-sub-15 pin VGA output.

2. Please check that there is sufficient PC power and deactivate the power-saving function before your presentation.

3. If you use a Macintosh computer, please be sure to bring the appropriate adapter for connecting to the VGA cable.

4. You can test your computer's connection to the projector in the session room during the coffee or lunch break prior to your session.


POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Poster Specifications:

- Prepare your poster with a size less than 160 cm (height) × 90 cm (width).
- Your poster board will be marked with the poster number. Please set your poster up in the designated place.
- Push pins for mounting posters will be provided in the poster area.

Poster Session Schedule:

Authors are expected to be at their posters when its session is scheduled.

Your poster should be removed immediately after the end of poster session. Any remaining poster will be removed and disposed of by the symposium secretariat.
