Call for Abstracts

MML2013 invites the submission of abstracts for the oral and poster presentations. Abstracts can be submitted under any of the following topics.

1  Synthesis and Patterning

2  Magnetic and Superconducting Multilayers

3  Magnetic Nanostructures

4  Magnetization Dynamics

5  Spin Transport

6  Applications

7  Others

Authors may choose their preference (oral or poster mode) in the online submission form, but the definite mode of presentation will be decided by the Program Committee and the Conveners, based on space/time restrictions.

 

Important Date(s)

Abstract Submission Deadline: December 9, 2012

Abstract submission deadline extended until December 16, 2012

Abstract Acceptance Notification: Early February, 2013.

Notice of acceptance/rejection will be sent via e-mail to the corresponding author.

If the abstract is accepted, the presenting author(s) must register by the Advanced Registration Deadline of April 10, 2013 and submit payment at this time.

 

Copyright Transfer Agreement

To submit abstracts, the first/presenting author, with the consent of any other co-authors, must agree to transfer the copyrights of the article submitted to the Yamada Science Foundation as from the time when the final abstract is submitted to the MML2013.

All author(s) must agree:

(a) To transfer to Yamada Science Foundation all copyrights relating to submitted materials.

(b) Not to exercise their moral rights against Yamada Science Foundation or any person/agency designated by the Foundation

Structure
1)
Title of the paper: 14pt size font, use bold.
2)
Author (initials or first names before surnames), separated by commas and each followed by a footnote letter (1, 2, 3...) referring to the respective address (12pt size font).
3)
Addresses, each preceded by a footnote letter referring to the respective author name(s) (12pt size font).
4)
References should be limited to the most relevant literature. They should all be cited in the text, numbered in square [ ] brackets consecutively in order of first appearance.
5)
Tables should have a clear structure, with simple column headings that include all units in parentheses.
6)
Figures must be sufficiently large in order for all details not to become illegible in printed form (Recommended dpi: 300dpi – 350dpi ). Figure captions should be 12pt size font.

 

Submission Procedures

All abstracts must be submitted electronically via the Symposium website only. Abstracts submitted by fax, e-mail, or post will not be accepted.

After you have prepared your abstract according to the instructions above, proceed to the Online Abstract Submission Form.

After submission, confirmation e-mail will be sent to the corresponding author. If you do not receive it, please notify the secretariat via e-mail (mml@krp.co.jp).

You may replace your abstract or make a correction in the registered information at any time prior to the submission deadline. Click here to log in.
