Higher plants adopt various strategies to survive the changes in its growing environment. Our research goal focuses on revealing the molecular mechanisms governing the morphological changes during this adaptation to environmental stimuli.
Here we use Arabidopsis thaliana, as a model plant, to reveal the regulations on cellular signal transduction and gene expression, in planta. Advanced methods in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, and reversed genetics are utilized to challenge these complicated projects. Most of the research projects currently running in the lab focus on general regulations that are highly conserved among the plant and animal kingdoms.
